What is Kianabar®, or K-bar® for short?

All quantities or numbers in our lives are relative. Unless we see them in these relative contexts much of their significance and meaning are lost. As such, whatever information we are to get from these numbers would be limited in scope. Which means decisions we make based on these limited information would likely not be as good as those we would make had we had a more comprehensive picture.

Consider your daughter got 80 in physics. This number gives limited information. We need to know what the overachievers, the underachievers or the "ordinary" students got to make sense of this number. We still get more information if we knew how she did within her gender, her race, her family background. How she did compared to national, to regional and so on. We still get a better sense when we see all these relative to each category and relative to other categories all in one look. In table formats or disjointed graphs these relations are not readily apparent and as clear. Here we also enhance the understanding by reducing the possibility of forgetting one data as we move to others and also by speeding up absorption of information through this unified picture.

Consider you are looking to buy a house. If it is priced at $600,000 and other houses in the neighborhood are valued around $350,000 you may be buying a white elephant. But if other houses are $1,000,000 and up then this house may well be a good candidate for real appreciation. This and other relative information about size, lot, number of rooms, etc. gives a more comprehensive picture of this house at one look than sifting through various tables or texts.

K-bar shows all these information in their relative context. As such K-bar is highly objective. It takes a lot of guess work out of your decision making process. K-bar does all these in a simple, visual way that is easy to understand. It is also quick, it is comprehensive and it is holistic.

K-bar is in the vanguard of "information transparency", which is determined to be the next major evolutionary advancement in our knowledge-based society and economy. All parameters in K-bar are user-selected and the amount of information it imparts is based on the "comfort level" of the user.

As people become more adept in using K-bar to get their objective, relative information in context their comfort level goes up and they could add more layers of data to this holistic way of seeing things. In numerous applications K-bar could eventually substitute for single number in information society.K-bar can be applied to all fields of human endeavor.

The Kianabar Universal Multi-Dimensional Display System is a Patent Pending invention.
